Today, No Echo premieres the new music video from New Jersey hardcore band Chemical-X. Their latest visual, set to the track “Going Through the Motions,” takes aim at the monotony and resignation of the 9-to-5 grind—a theme the band has consistently pushed back against.

Directed by Jeff Gallardo, the clip's opening scenes capture the universal cringe of job interviews before shifting into a fun, DIY-esque video for the song itself.

The song is from Chemical-X's sophomore LP for Creep Records, Is This Tomorrow?

For those new to the band, Chemical-X play a gritty, fast-paced style of punk. “Going Through the Motions” is a great introduction to the band’s sound and overall vibe.

The band focuses heavily on the uncertainty of growing up, the constant tug of having to work to survive, and simply trying to maintain a sense of peace in an otherwise crazy world.

Chemical-X just wrapped up a very busy summer touring schedule and expect to announce fall and winter dates shortly.
