Boston hardcore band Haywire have announced their sophomore full-length, I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye, arriving October 2 via their new label home, Roadrunner Records. Along with the announcement, the band have released the album’s first single, “Interstate Love Affair."
I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye was produced by Citizen vocalist Mat Kerekes and mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit Studio. The record was tracked over three months in Leeds, UK, and Toledo, Ohio, and features appearances from members of Nothing and The Aggrolites, along with several friends of the band.

The new LP follows Haywire’s 2024 debut, Conditioned for Demolition, as well as a busy stretch that included the 2025 For Better or for Worse EP, a split with No Guard, and this year’s New England Forever split with Dropkick Murphys.
Haywire will spend plenty of time on the road surrounding the album’s release. The band heads to Australia this month before returning to the U.S. for dates supporting Turnstile and Circle Jerks. Their fall schedule also includes appearances at Louder Than Life, Riot Fest, CBGB Fest, Aftershock, Furnace Fest, Sick New World, Pressure Point Fest, and Vans Warped Tour.
Fun fact: the cover art for I Don't Wannna Say Goodbye was painted by Ernie Parada, the NYHC veteran who has played in such bands as Token Entry, Black Train Jack, and Grey Area.
