Their formation story:
(Jarrod, guitar): "Almost everyone in the band used to play in our old band Choke at different times and as life has gone on over the past decade and a bit we have all dipped in and out of each other's lives. It wasn't really until the end of 2023 though that we floated the idea of doing a new band together after we saw the videos of the surprise Ceremony Sound and Fury set popping up online, reminding us how much we loved fast and feral hardcore punk and blast beats.
"Nath, Bruno and I got together and then we asked Dan if he would be keen to jump back on the mic since he was living back on the Coast. Dan then brought Asher to the band as well."
Their sound in their own words:
"The sound is a mix of moshy bits, blast beats, and punk riffs. Drawing inspiration from '90s US power violence, modern hardcore/punk, and a litany of great Australian bands. I think anyone who rates Extortion, early Ceremony, and White Male Dumbinance would be at least interested in what we are trying to do."
Latest release info:
"We recorded our new EP, Doomed Existence, the same day that we recorded our demo tape. It is four tracks of power violence-inspired hardcore punk and has an equal share of blasting riffs and mosh bits. It was recorded by Blake Ohlback at Sonora Studios and mixed/mastered by Ryan Bram at Homewrecker Studios. Blake is our buddy and has recorded all of our different bands over the years. Ryan is an absolute tone wizard and he took the tracks to a new level really quickly.
"Writing the EP happened really quickly and naturally while we were finishing off our demo and has what I think is a more consistent sound/approach across the songs compared to the demo. Our friend Adam has done a real limited run of cassette tapes for the EP which he has released through his label, Team Glasses Records."
Future plans:
"We're playing a Sydney show this weekend supporting a legendary Sydney hardcore band Toe to Toe with a bunch of other great bands from the area. While our singer Dan makes the move to Melbourne we are set to record another 4 or 5-track EP over the next few months which hopefully will drop as a 7" at some point in the year. In March, we open for Speed when they come to our area and we are looking at some interstate shows mid-way through the year."

"Some newer bands from near us are Culture of Hate, Dominant Hand, The Velvet Youth, Spat Out, and No Control."
